In his book A Leadership Checklist, Michael Useem says that there are three basic skills that help develop other skills of a strong leader. According to Useem a strong leader is someone who -
- Thinks strategically
- Communicates persuasively
- Decides decisively
These three are traits that are present characteristics in productive leadership.
